1. Google Drive

Client ID configured securely in the app. Google access is authorized through Google's sign-in window.

2. Select photos & videos

iOS opens its photo picker. For large libraries, select manageable batches. Keep this app open until uploads finish.

3. SmartClean · Read-only Preview

Find exact duplicates without moving, deleting or uploading your local files. Scan folders individually, including USB/external drives. Google Drive scan covers files accessible under the current PhotoSetu authorization, not your entire Drive.

Local folders and external drives

To compare multiple folders/drives, scan one at a time and use Add to scan; Clear resets the combined results. Browsers may require selecting each folder separately. Only photos and videos are checked. Files ending in supplemental-metadata.json are listed separately, never treated as duplicate media.

No scan started.

Preview only: no delete, move, merge or Trash operation exists. Google Photos full-library scanning is not supported by Google's current API; selected exports may be scanned locally.
